Abstract
Obliteration of the ruptured intracranial aneurysm is generally believed to be safe and endurable, even in multiple aneurysms. Hyperdynamic therapy accompanied by microsurgical clipping, hypertensive impact whether inherent or induced, and specific angographic architecture are not normally considered as risk factors for rupture of the untreated aneurysms. We briefly report such an unusual rupture treated with emergent endovascular occlusion. We also discuss possible pathogenesis with regard to the limited role of computed tomographic angiography.
